There are typically two stages to the interview process – an initial screening call with the Director of Talent & Culture, followed by a behavioural interview with one or more members of the Executive Team.
The screening call is conducted over the phone or video conference and is approximately 15 to 20 minutes long.
For those candidates that progress to the interview stage, they are currently conducted over the phone or over video conference and are approximately 30 to 45 minutes long. Certain interviews may be conducted in person going forward but will remain virtual while restrictions are in place in the Greater Toronto Area.
For Consultants, there may be an additional round of casual discussion with the Engagement Manager to identify the right fit for a particular engagement team.
Interviews are behavioral in nature and are intended to assess your skills, your ability to think critically and creatively, your ability to work well in a team setting, and your fit with Collaboration Partners.
Depending on the complexity of the engagement for which we are recruiting, there may be a small case study component to certain interviews.

We expect volunteers to commit around seven to ten (7-10) hours per week for project work, meetings, events, and travel. Volunteers schedule meetings with their team, client, and advisor based on mutual availability, and make their own travel arrangements to and from meetings and events.
-
We understand that you work full time, so meetings usually take place during the evenings, weekends, or over lunch. Meetings are organized within each team to accommodate for each member’s and client’s schedule.
Currently, Collaboration Partners is conducting all of its consulting work virtually, but will seek to return to having certain in-person meetings as restrictions continue to be lifted in the Greater Toronto Area.
Collaboration Partners will provide you with access to Microsoft 365 where you will have both Outlook and Teams to communicate with your team and client. Your meetings are expected to be conducted virtually or over the phone. Please kindly note that in order to work effectively with your team, you will need access to a personal laptop or computer.

Each team consists of an Engagement Manager, and one or more Consultants. Depending on the size of the project, the number of consultants can range from one to five, but averages two to three.
Engagement teams are supported by the Consulting Operations members of our Executive Team who are there to provide expert advice and quality control and to support the Engagement Manager with any client relations challenges that might arise.
