Andrea Loayza
Chairman of the Board
Andrea is one of the co-founders of Collaboration Partners and has been involved with the organization since its inception in 2011. She serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors supporting the strategic direction and growth for the organization and has previously served as Lead of the Executive Team and Project Manager for a client engagement. She is very enthusiastic about the social impact of pro bono consulting for nonprofits in broader Toronto community. Andrea has served as a volunteer consultant for a microfinance organization in Sao Paolo through the Global Social Enterprise program at Yale SOM, Lead Advisor for various engagements at the Volunteer Consulting Group at the University of Toronto for four years and Engagement Manager for Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-profits.
Andrea currently works in strategy in management consulting with a focus in consumer retail. She has professional experience in investment banking, corporate strategy (management consulting and internal strategy) and corporate development within the financial services industry and consumer retail industries in North America (US and Canada). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Business Administration from the Yale School of Management.
Rachel Abrams
General Board Member
Rachel is a passionate creative leader dedicated to brand building. She’s an innovative problem-solver with a talent for solving complex business challenges with approachable and insightful ideas. Over the past 20 years her work has spanned nearly every consumer category from fast food to financial institutions. Notable brands are McDonald’s, Canada Goose, The Globe and Mail, FedEx, RBC, General Mills, and Accor Hotels. As Group Creative Director at her primary role is leading creative on US and Canadian retail businesses.
Malcolm Jussawalla
General Board Member
Malcolm is a leader with 15+ years of experience in strategy, marketing, innovation, business leadership and entrepreneurship. Over the past 10 years, he has built and executed strategies from both the Business and Technology perspective at TD with a focus on Customer Acquisition, Channel Distribution and Technology Business Management. In addition, he has extensive experience in: Financial Services, Technology, Consumer Packaged Goods, Non-Profit and Sports & Entertainment sectors.
Malcolm holds a Bachelors of Applied Science in Materials Engineering and a MBA from the University of Toronto.
Mike Kenigsberg
General Board Member
Mike works as a management consultant for Canadian and US based Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Med Device companies to overcome their commercial challenges. Previously he worked at Klick Health working at the intersection of technology and marketing for global healthcare organizations.
Mike has been involved in charitably and not-for-profits for the past five years and has sat on the Board of Directors of the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation of Canada and has acted as the Chairman of the Board. He also sits on the Board of Directors of VHA Home Healthcare. Mike has been a member of the Board of Directors at Collaboration Partners since for over 6 years.
Mike has a B.Sc. from York University, an M.Sc. from Western University and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
Varun Ohri
General Board Member
Varun works in corporate strategy at a financial services company. He made the move to corporate strategy after 10+ years as a management consultant. He started his career in Toronto as a sales & marketing consultant for clients in the life sciences industry. He then moved to the UK for several years where he gained experience in strategy and commercial due diligence consulting. After returning to Toronto, he worked as an independent consultant for several years.
Varun joined the Board of Collaboration Partners to apply his management consulting experience in the service of non-profit clients. Varun has previously experience as a pro-bono consultant with the Volunteer Consulting Group at the University of Toronto and with Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits.
Varun holds a BASc in Engineering Science and a MASc in Biomedical Engineering, both from the University of Toronto.
