Engagement Manager Role
The Team Leader role is the most critical role to the success of a consulting engagement. The Team Leader is the team “quarterback” who guides the process from beginning to end. This includes clarifying the workplan with the client to form a more detailed approach during the kick-off meeting, coordinating the efforts and work product of the team of consultants, and keeping the project on track by scheduling meetings by the appropriate deadlines. The Team Leader will collaborate with the consulting team members.

Engagement Managers require the following qualifications:
Undergraduate degree / Master’s degree
At least three to five years of full-time work experience in the private/public/non-profit sector
Management consulting (on internal strategy) and non-profit experience preferred
Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Experience directly managing a project team. This includes creating a project plan, assigning and overseeing discrete tasks for team members, resolving project issues, etc.
Experience managing a client relationship and interacting with senior stakeholders to drive buy-in
In addition, Collaboration Partners highly values teamwork, and we are seeking individuals who have demonstrated superior leadership skills and valuable contributions in team oriented environments. Our core recruitment areas include corporate strategy, investment banking, management consulting, and private equity. We welcome individuals seeking to broaden and supplement their work experience with non-profit exposure.
-
Collaboration Partners takes its client engagements seriously. Those who wish to apply should expect to commit an average of five to seven hours a week for project work, meetings and events. Our engagements are currently being conducted in a fully remote environment as a result of the restrictions in place due to COVID-19. Occasional in-person meetings may return as the situation in the province continues to improve.
Volunteers schedule meetings with their team and client based on the availability of the participants.
Consultant Role
Consulting team members will work alongside other experienced professionals to address the client’s needs. From identifying issues and conducting market research to presenting to senior management teams and working alongside clients to develop strategies to implement our recommendations, you will have the opportunity to make a direct contribution to catalysing social impact in our community.
